Old Home Day Glorious Celebration30th Year Celebration!July 10 - 12, 2008East Hampton, ConnecticutEast Hampton's weekend-long Old Home Day Glorious Celebration marks its 30th anniversary of consecutive Old Home Day celebrations this summer. Old Home Day is no doubt most famous for presenting Middlesex County's largest parade and for hosting the 5K Glorious Gallop road race. Over the last several years, Old Home Days has consistently improved upon its ever-strong entertainment lineup and this trend will continue in 2008. The festivities will be held in the field that lies between Center School, the East Hampton Post Office, and the Congregational Church in East Hampton's historic Village Center. Old Home Days 2008 takes place from Thursday, July 10 though Saturday, July 12 and is all about celebrating and sharing the spirit and force of our spectacular community. The theme of this year's Glorious Celebration is Hometown Holidays. Old Home Day Essay/Poster Contest WinnersDonna Turchi, East Hampton Center School Principal, recently announced the winners of the school's annual Old Home Day Essay/Poster contest.
